Lennart van Doremalen
Student at the Science faculty
"Hello. I am Lennart van Doremalen, third-year Physics student and member of List Helder. In my second year I was the student assessor of the Physics and Astronomy department and chairman of our co-determination council. University Utrecht profiles itself as a top university. In my opinion, a top university needs top facilities. Computers that need ten minutes to power up are a simple no go. I will especially take a stance for better ICT facilities (faster computers, on-line Video colleges), cantina policy (Longer opening times, Microwaves), housing and sport facilities."

Olivier Schroder
Student at the Humanities faculty
"My name is Oliver Schroeder and I am a third year student in philosophy at Utrecht University. I'm also a board member of FUF, the Faculty association for Utrechtian Philosophy students. I do not only take the regular courses in philosophy, but also follow a lot of courses in history and therefore I know how much the university regulations can (sometimes) kill incentives and means to study. On behalf of Lijst Helder I will take a stance for flexibility in the study flexibility in the study, the maintenance of student associations and smoother resit regulations. Lijst Helder is about giving a voice to the needs of every student, because every student deserves proper representation. I also strongly belief that a critical stance and demand for clarity are of great importance for the University Council to function in the way it should."

Ruslan Galyamov
Student at the Law, Economics and Governance faculty
"Being an international student, I see university from a slightly different point. It is a shame that the interests of international guests are barely represented in the University Council. It is time to make a change and stand up. Party Helder has attracted me for its straightforwardness and devotion to student life improvement. No change means no progress, no progress means regress in this dynamic world."
